3 Solutions to Workplace Theft

3 Solutions to Workplace Theft

For over 20 years Derby Detectives have helped companies of all sizes prevent and detect workplace theft.

Knowledge is Power

When theft occurs, we provide you with the facts, evidence and information required to make an informed decision and take action.

Many cases result in the employee being prosecuted, handing in their notice or accepting dismissal. Witness statements and affidavits, meeting court and tribunal requirements, can be provided.

Of course, theft is a sensitive issue. Derby Detectives offer a range of solutions to help confirm or mitigate any suspicions that you may have before taking action.

Surveillance

In the first instance, Derby Detectives recommend at least 10 hours surveillance. This allows us to monitor the subject’s movements and give us a good indication as to whether further investigation would be necessary.

All the evidence we gather on your behalf is done so legally. Your surveillance is carried out by 2 highly trained agents and we provide you with court ready reports. All video and photographic stills are time and date stamped.

Covert Employee Placement

When you're unsure where the theft is taking place, or who is responsible, we can provide agents working undercover.

Despite sounding very 'James Bond', we have found this to be one of the most effective methods of theft investigation. It frequently provides a wealth of vital information leading to many successful conclusions.

Polygraph Test

Another tool at your disposal is the lie detector test.

If you need a conclusive answer to an issue or if you need to prove your innocence then a polygraph examination is the answer.

Derby Detectives are part of LocalPI, the UK's largest private detective company, and the UK's largest provider of polygraph tests.

We use the same equipment as the US / Canadian Governments and our in-house examiners are trained to the highest standard at the New England Polygraphy Institute in the United States.
